Aeropostale songs

I was in a Canadian Aeropostale store earlier today and I heard this one I liked, it had just a touch of folk music to it but I just can't remember any of the lyrics although I do *think* it was sung by a male. By this point I'm not really sure. Right after that, another song started playing that had a tiny touch of metal to it, and it was a female singer, and that too I also don't remember the lyrics for... Does anyone have an idea what they might be?
