Looking for song for years, please help

A guy from school gave me a song on a cd labelled "Dj Tristo" which i knew at the time was his misinterpretation on "Dj Tiesto"
This cd had a song on it that i fell in love with, then i left the cd in Melbourne when we moved to Brisbane. I was naturally devastated, it being my favourite song not knowing the name or artist. I am sure it isnt tiesto, even though it has a similarity to "Adagio for strings" like more of a trance version - i have looked through countless adagio remixes and got nothing.
I do however have a loop from the song - it is in a flash game called zombie killer 2072 a.d, after the intro at the first part of the game.
