Finally, I've managed to listen to it. At first I was so surprised and jumped like a baby, then I began to enjoy it a lot. You know when I imagine the moment when Pawel will listen o it, I smile broadly.

Thank you for your efforts Bateli. You've done so many things already.

It's not an effort...Adam is one of the sweetest people I've known.

He actually reminded me to send him an explanation on how to pronounce Paul's name

I only dropped in "for a minute" because I don't much time and my eyes are killing me (from a heavy load of computer tasking at work right now) but 20 minutes later I'm still enraptured by all of your posts bateli ....

And about this "dreaded fear of orthodoxy" of course you should know that God has always "used" his most beloved ones in ways that were not so "orthodox" at all (by human definitions). And what we have here on these pages exceeds all human definition and almost all expectation ... so: No fear my sister, if you "fail" yourself in some "dreaded" and unexpected way, we'll still be here for you

Having problems with vertigo for 2-3 days ... it's temporary, a mild case and it will pass, but for now I can't stay on the computer as much as normal :-/ ...

    Dear Jandros
I voiced a slight concern due to my new attraction to religion oriented music.
I now know it has to do with the musical qualities of the music itself rather than
    the religious content.
I read way too many books...asked too many questions ....learned too much to BELIEVE there is a God (the way religion describe him/her/it).

When I have questions ...I look for answers the way I was taught to search,
using the tools I've been instructed to use.
    My senses...my common sense...my experience....my reason....my mind.
I'm leaving the imagination out of the equation.
There is no heaven filled with blossoming flowers or hell surrounded by blazing flames.
We have this life to live and I think we better stick to make it meaningful instead of fearing the wrath of a story's main character.

Divinity is in our actions, our choices. It's as simple as that.

These days I can't get this song out of my head. I know it's not related directly to Pawel, but I think that its universal features can be related to anyone of us including Pawel

Belinda Carlisle - A Prayer For Everyone

    Every child deserves love
a safe place to run and play
    every man deserves a chance
to bring home a decent pay
    every race is equal
    Beloved in God's eyes
when I see discrimination my soul cries

Say a prayer for the lonely
    a prayer for the confused
Say a prayer if you'd only
    for the secretly abused
Say a prayer for the newborn
with all the battles to be won
Say a prayer for the tired and worn
    Say a prayer for everyone

Walk a mile with a stranger
    Put yourself in his shoes
Lend a hand to an old one
    Good will come to you
    In our heads were happy
    We go our merry way
In our hearts were all afraid of our dying day

    Every child deserves love
a safe place to run and play
    every woman deserves a chance
to bring home a decent pay

Thank you Simin. I know in this time we can't do anything but pray. Thank you for your beautiful words. I hope Pawel will get well so soon. I've become so impatient recently.

    Again, thank you.

Dear Bateli, after your translation, I've put this song on my mobile phone again. This time I've listened to it more carefully with the help of your translation. Since that day, it's become an inseparable part of my playlist.

I just needed it and its translation. It can make me so relaxed and hopeful.

I'm sure that whenever Pawel will see it and listen to it, he will fall in love with this song immediately.

Your kindness always amazes me Bateli, thank you.

    Pauli...this is for you sweety....
    Another Israeli diva....Miri Massika ..MUMY

After there was nothing left to be taken for granted
You're on your way to me
After I almost didn't believe we'd love like that
    Maybe, just for a minute
As if the loving girl's eyes forgot
The weight of your leaving hand that night

    MUMY
    What had become of me?
    Laughing and crying
I will always be different for you
    MUMY
    What had become of me?
    Forgotten from your heart
But your look will forever stay with me
    So come and reveal me

Where are you going my love
    Where are your feet treading?
    What are they hoping for?
    We knew solace my love
    We didn't know battles
    From the thousands of nights
Tears that welled in your eyes
    Burn in my eyes
Years that cracked in your face
    Has also passed by me

    MUMY
    What had become of me?
    Laughing and crying
I will always be different for you
    MUMY
    What had become of me?
    Forgotten from your heart
But your look will forever stay with me
    So come and reveal me

Out of all we had then
    Nothing is left for me
    But pain in my chest
Out of everything I hoped for then
    Inside me, what's left
    But this moment
And all yesterday's games were left behind
    With the other woman's song
    Whose name I won't remember

    MUMY
    What had become of me?
    Laughing and crying
I will always be different for you
    MUMY
    What had become of me?
    Forgotten from your heart
But your look will forever stay with me
    So come and reveal me

    Default Miri Messika - THERE

I want to lengthen the moment
    I'll never be like them
    The memories from school
    A mess in my room
    I want longing
    That won't let me sleep
That I won't be able to fight
They say she lives in the sky or at sea
    Not like everyone
    She dives and rises

    THERE
    No one will get near
And even if you'll say that you love
    That your heart got broken
And you chose me out of all of them
Out of all the girls in the world
    I won't take you there
    Because you taught me silence
    And I'm still waiting

    I want long hands
To hold without having to see
    They say she hides wings
    In the big blue coat
    She flew

    AND THERE
    She won't let you near
And even if you'll say that you love
    That your heart got broken
And you chose her out of all of them
Out of all the girls in the world
They say don't ever trust her
She'll always return you in silence
    And I'm still waiting
    And I'm still waiting
    Waiting

    THERE
    No one will get near
And even if you'll say that you love
    That your heart got broken
And you chose me out of all of them
Out of all the girls in the world
    I won't take you there
    Because you taught me silence
    And I'm still waiting

I want to lengthen the moment
    FOREVER
