In any case, I like the basic message conveyed in the video above. The band that preceded Afromental's debute act, the Red Mustaches, epitomizes the trends in the music industry today. A product can suck lacking both style and substance, but it will be promoted, marketed and sold by the media as something of quality as long as it promotes some easily understood "cliche" value, usually a positive one, and then delivers it on some primitive level. Here it was longing for love. Afromental has figured this out, and by taking best and worst from different genres but always promoting or rather parodying "fun" they have cornered a certain market. Any thoughts, ideas?
