Setio = slang for the past tense of "set".

-ado becomes -ao (Tu me tiene sofocao)
s is dropped before vowels and at the end of words (not estes, digo "ete")
r is dropped at the end of words a lot (deci not decir)

for taco esta acostado, i would say "taco 'ta acotao"
    the shortenings for estar are
    'toy
    tu ta

instead of voy a, i say voa, or wa

that's about all i can think of for now. oh yea, they talk really, really fast. i can't even come close to fast as them, and i still have to slow it down for most native speakers

It would be something like "come very close to me", "stick your body to mine"...

    Default Quick Cheat Sheet....

Hey if you guys have any questions regarding Puerto Rican Slang....I can help you guys out....I've been following reggaeton since the humble beginnings of underground....So please feel free....This is a quick cheat sheet I made in another Thread...Hope it's useful:

Alicate is a Tool...A Hench man. Someone who makes himeself readily available to do the dirty work.

Bichote is The leader. He is usually the boss of the 'puntos' (Drug Points) He runs the place.

Mamon is literally a sucker. Calling someone a mamon is like calling them a sucker.

Feka is a lie. if your called a Fekero...your being called a lier.

Chota is a snitch. People get shot for this.

Chulo is like a pretty boy. Ladies man.

Pendejo is like a dum bass. (<-- seperated for censorship)

Bichotes Feka is someone trying to be a boss...trying to be a leader but is full of sh it (<-- seperated for censorship). it's like Saying Bichote de Carton....

Babilla is like having the balls to do something.

Cria is similar to Babilla just of a different degree.

Any questions, like I said...please feel free.

palomazo is a form of the word palomo that means it's really big (adding -azo to the end of the word makes it larger). a palomo is a dominican word that's really hard to translate, so i'll just explain the traits of a palomo so you can understand it better jaja. a palomo doesn't have any honor or bravery, they can't get girls, everybody hates them, they just completely fail at life
mamacoņazo (mamacoņo) is a d*ck sucker
    mamaguevazo is a ball sucker
you got these words from Guayateo didn't you? :P

Hey Muņeca, Can I have a kiss en la punta la maseta depues te la espeta....
It means hey girl can I have a kiss on the point (head) of my di ck and then you insert it (well you know where).

    Tanto que roncan..
How much they talk sh it....Roncar is to talk sh it. Roncaera is a form of Tiraera except it's not really directed at anyone as opposed to Tiraera which is usually directly pointed to someone in particular...

Arraca?? i'm assuming you mean Arranca (Arranca cachete que usted no le mete)...Cachete i'm assuming is from the word cachetiar which means to leech off of...so Arranca Cachete que usted no le mete....usted no le mete..is like saying they don't have talent...they don't come hard....so
Arranca cachete que usted no le mete....Is like saying Take off leech because you're not worthy.

You have to understand that the song is not meant to be taken literal. Jowell y Randy were beefin with some people in their own group Los Leones de Ponce. And they wrote a metaphoric song about their stature in the game and how they weren't worthy of 'cachetiando' or leechin off of them...Here i'll translate the first part:

    Randy:
sube el telon y apparesco yo
-The curtain rises and I appear
con una nota bien cabron ando aplastandolos a to
-High off my *** destroying them all (musically of course)
hey si tu, mas grande que yo
-Hey if you? Bigger then me (as an artist)
    no, tu estas loco palomazo
-Na you're crazy palomazo <-- read Dmoney's post above.

    mamacoņazo
    -Ball sucker
pa que la moņa dure...no te voy a dar nah
-So that the weed lasts i'm not gonna give you any (basically he's saying he's not going to help out the artist)
to me lo voy a fumar
-I'm going to smoke it all
-So take off leech because you're not worthy
que aqui no hay nah...to me lo voy a fumar
-There's nothing here for you, i'm gonna smoke it all...

Default Don Omar's verse in "Bandoleros"

Would you help me with these lyrics? I think he's talking about his arrest in 2004. There was another thread translating this cut to English, but it stopped after Tego's first verse.

Y yo aqui pichando aguantando callando
Mi gente yo no soy distinto a ustedes
Diablo me duele tanta baba, duele tanta baba
El no juzgarme se les agradeze
El beneficio de la duda cualquiera merece

Yes you're correct...this was directly related to the drug charges he faced when he was caught with Drugs and a gun....

Artist: Don Omar feat Tego Calderon
    Song: Bandoleros
    Album: Los Bandoleros
    Cut: Don Omar's Verse

    Don Omar:
    (Mira) Diablo que cherreo
    -Look! Damn what a mess
-I caught a case and they pointed the finger at me
Ya no era el rey del perreo
-Now i'm not the king of Perreo(reggaeton)
Ahora era tecato y otro posible reo
-Now i'm a drug addict and possibly something worse
-and that they locked me up 2 people said, i see that as messed up
-I don' t believe in that ingrate system of reformation
-2 pigs arrested me for killing time
Y yo aqui pichando aguantando callando
-and here i'm frontin, holding on staying shut
-if nobody is perfect...what are they judging me about?
-and do what with my life what anyone can
Vivir como quiere, tener sus placeres
-live how I want and have my pleasures
Mi gente yo no soy distinto a ustedes
-my people i'm not any different then you are
-Today i'm an artist because you guys want it.
    Me dieron las primeras planas
-They gave me the front page
Cojen rapero con marihuana, pistola y cosa rara
-"Caught Rapper with Marijuana, Guns and Rare things"
Solo quedara en su mente clara
-just keep clear in your mind
-When you grow up where I grew up, then you were raised where I was raised.(Saying in Puerto Rico..It's like saying don't talk sh it if you don't know)
Diablo me duele tanta baba, duele tanta baba
-Damn it hurts when people talk sh it, hurts when people talk sh it
En no juzgarme se les agradeze
    -Not judging me is appreciated.

    That's some ill sh**.

Lyrics like that really give me a perspective of the language that I can remember when I try to speak Spanish.
