Cannot find this song anywhere?!

Last night my boyfriend sang a couple of lines from a song, he only remembers these lines: "Why do I love you, I just don't know?" with a pause between "why do I love you" and "I just don't know".
He sang it pretty high pitched, think Michael Jackson style.
I've tried loads of different combinations on search engines, and it's definitely not Westlife in case anyone was thinking that. Someone has also suggested 3 doors down, it's not them either.
My boyfriend said he thinks it's a pretty obscure song.
I can't seem to find it anywhere and it's doing my head in! :P
Does anyone have any ideas?

Haha it was Cassius - I love you so. So the lyrics he remembers were a bit wrong!
