Can someone translate this song, please? Here sings Sarit Hadad but it seems to me it is a well known song. "Ara vai" are not Hebrew words and so far, I've found other Non-Hebrew songs where they are present in, so don't worry about them. Todah rabah!.

I can't help you with the translation, but the song itself seems to be a Hebrew version of a Kavkazi ("Mountain Jewish") tune, here performed by Sarit's namesake Sarit Yosef:
