Default FIN -> ENG Viimeinen Mammutti

I've tried to translate the lyrics myself and would love to have my translation attempt corrected. Thanks a lot in advance

    Viimeinen mammutti

    Hiukset pitkät harjailee
    Kärsän vielä niistelee
    Ja syöksyhampaatkin pesaisee
    Päälle kylmän routajään
    Painaa suuren suuren pään
    Ja hännän oikaisee

    Tuuli tuivertaa
    Hankeen peittyy koko maa
    Puun alle nukahtaa

    Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti
    On aika mennä nukkumaan
    Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti
    Sinut vielä muistetaan

    Tähtiin katsoo muistaen
    Sanat viisaat veljien
    Suuret silmät hymyillen
    Ummistaa
    Missä kuljet milloinkin
    On jossain koti kuitenkin
    Sen vielä nähdä saat

    Tuuli tuivertaa
    Hankeen peittyy koko maa
    Puun alle nukahtaa

    Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti
    On aika mennä nukkumaan
    Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti
    Sinut vielä muistetaan
    Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti
    (Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti)
    On aika mennä nukkumaan
    (Aika mennä nukkumaan)
    Hyvää yötä viimeinen mammutti
    (viimeinen mammutti)
    Sinut vielä muistetaan

    The last mammoth

    Brushes the long hair
    Also blows its nose
    And (?) the tusks
    On the cold frost-ice
    Pushes the big, big head
    And straightens the tail

    The wind blows
The whole land covered with snow
To fall asleep under a tree

    Good night, the last mammoth
It’s time to go to sleep
    Good night, the last mammoth
    You’ll still be remembered

    Looks to the stars, remembering
    Words of wise brothers
    Large eyes smile
    Close
Where you travel at any time
    The home is somewhere anyway
You have yet to see it

    The wind blows
The whole land covered with snow
To fall asleep under a tree

    Good night, the last mammoth
It’s time to go to sleep
    Good night, the last mammoth
    You’ll still be remembered

    Good night, the last mammoth
    (Good night, the last mammoth)
It’s time to go to sleep
    (Time to go to sleep)
    Good night, the last mammoth
    (The last mammoth)
    You’ll still be remembered

Okay! Otherwise correct, but there is some parts that I'd like to correct a bit:

And (?) the tusks -- The missing word is "wash". The form of "wash" used in the song is a bit informal one, and it specifies that the washing happens quickly, without too much thinking.
To fall asleep under a tree -- Actually, I think that this part refers to the mammoth, so it would be better as "Falls asleep under a tree".
Words of wise brothers -- In the song, "wise" refers to the "words", despite the odd word order. It can be seen in the word endings. So the correct translation would be "Wise words of the brothers"

I didn't spot anything else weird, good job! Have you studied Finnish?

    Thank you so much!

I couldn't make out what verb form it was, thanks for clearing that up

And yeah, now you wrote it about the "tree" and the "brothers", I can actually see that.

Well I've been trying to learn Finnish from the Internet, I think I'm making some progress
