This is such a beautiful song! I would like to one day be able to perform songs in every language, and this may be one of the candidates for the Persian group.
Can I pick your brain about another Persian song I like? My shorthand is with Latino phonics (įSoy Cubano!), but I'll post the Persian lyrics first without knowing how accurate they are.
It is a song you are probably very familiar with since it is (I think) an old standard.
The old Darioush Rafiei version I first heard in a different way (faster beat, rusty sound), but I think this is another person doing that song in his own style (don't know this gentleman's name but he has a very nice voice).
so here goes:
Golnar
My way of doing this has to be in something I can sing so I use Spanish phonics, which ends up in my shorthand as something like this (the part near the end):
Nashar di o shay
Nashar di o shay
Deco yo don di
tayk a shar a shar
De deman Golnar
La dejo golchar
La dejo golchar
Deso han Golnar
Dedes horrando
Mashe chan Golnar
If you could help me out with the proper pinglish/finglish way to write Golnar I would be very grateful, and would help with any Spanish/Latin songs you would like to transcribe.
Que le vaya bien!
