Beirut cries out, O Baqaa3i [person from the Beqaa]. Why does the Mountain abandon a conscious person?

حتى يسهر ما في داعي، عسكرنا سهران
Until there's no reason for wakefulness, our army is vigilant.

مجدك خالد انت صامد
Your glory is everlasting. You are steadfast and enduring.

بوجه الاعداء ما بتلين
In the face of enemies, you don't bend.

عَلّي جبينك عندك قائد
Upon your brow, you have a leader.

ما بيحني للغير جبين
No one inspires others like [your] brow.

مجدك خالد انت صامد
Your glory is everlasting. You are steadfast and enduring.

زندك قاسي ما بلين
Your forearm is stern. It doesn't bend.

الرايه باديك عم بتعلّي
