أرجي ورود الهوى تنبت بأراضيها

he orders and ends and am always the way he wants me
begging the roses of love to grow in his lands

لاغاب عني يعيش الفكر مع طيفه
وان صار عندي حياة الحب الاقيها

if he absent my thoughts lives with his shadow
and if he come to me i meet with love life


مسكين قلب شكى غيبة مواليفه
عزي لعله تعذر من يداويها

poor is my heart always complaining his absence
am consoled for that in case i didn't find who heals me

ظل ظليل علي وغصونه مريفه
شمعة زماني عسى الله ما يطفيها

hes a shadow that shades above my leaves tenderly
hes my life's candle may god never distinguish it

أن سل من نظرته لأهل الهوى سيفه
ويطيح قلبي من غصون نبت فيها

if he lay his sword to those who are in love
my heart with fall from those plants where they have grown

لامن ضحك لي خذت قلبي تواصيفه
ولامن زعل عفت انا الدنيا ومافيها

if he laugh he takes my heart in its all features
and when he get upset i get rid of life and all whats in it

لجل أن احبه وأحب اسمع سواليفه
