J’suis perdu d’avance, maalish retente ma chance

    Thanks

La Fouine ft. Kamelancien - Real Life

    Adele (Hometown Glory sample)
Shows that we ain't gonna stand sh-t
    Shows that we are united
Shows that we ain't gonna stand sh-t
Shows that we ain't gonna stand sh-t
    Shows that we are united...

    La Fouine
    Yeah, Capital Of Crime
    Kletsa, Fouiny Baby, Kamelanc'
    Leggo

    Adele (Hometown Glory sample)

    Round my hometown
    Memories are fresh,
Are the wonders of my world
Are the wonders of my world
    Round my hometown
    Oh the people I’ve met...

    La Fouine

Mama one day everything will get better
For the moment we're having a hard time here
Money's not coming, our hopes are locked down
So we prayed the Lord, we'll never become engineers
Misery took away the promise of better days
Bro it's about big family, dishes and dust
Add some cutlery, my mother is overdrawn
We dreamt of flying away, running after a beautiful life
Chance isn't willing like in Sofitel rooms
I don't know about my future, I remember my past
I learnt music before learning to lace my shoes
We're looking for money here, never turning the other cheek
On our way we inflict others and lose brothers like Bandigou
I rap for the Whites, Africans, Creoles
Rap is dead, that's why there are so many halos on my checks
It's hopeless, but well let me try my luck again
My gigs are sold out, back in the days I used to fill up courtrooms
Sometimes I follow Shaitan, sometimes I follow the Sunnah
The missing ones are always wrong, except Zyed and Bouna
One day we'll forget you brother, a bit like Larusso
Let them break down the doors of success, brother I got the keys
I remember the winters, cold water in the bathtub
When Mama was crying bailiffs handed her hankies
Shout out to Ben and Haroun
I'm going to make it without pulling down my pants
Too many bastards talk sh-t about me
    I barely know them
So I write lines about my motherfu-king pain
I spend my nights in the studio, routine, as usual
I come up with double albums because my fans want some rap
Giving up ain't my kind of thing, first class on the airbus
I've gone a long way since my texts at the bus stop
One day I'll rap topless so I won't have anything to sell out
Rapping with my heart sister, that's what that was left to me
I'll end up like Tupac, Big L or Biggie
    Inch'Allah I'll be a good Muslim when I join Ziggie's father
On Monday we'll fight, and we'll be brothers by Tuesday
No matter the week, we'll have dinner in the cemetery on Sunday
    Fouiny Babe

    Kamelancien
My thoughts go out to Jonathan Camara
And all my brothers in prison
    Locked up like Samara
Come here, I'll tell you my story
I'm coming back from far away, I'm back from Sahara
It all started in grade school
They told me about my big brother's death
And I saw my mother's tears
The old lady never recovered from your death, Mohamed
May God show mercy on your soul, big brother
    Broken family, emotional shock
Since that day I've never been the same
    Anyway, I entered junior high
With my homeboys we tumbled down like a procession
First form - pff all the crazy sh-t we did
With Shubam and Zbayd we messed it all up
    We laughed so hard
I'd give all I have to relive these moments, these fun times
In the hood there still was respect
We never mixed with the big boys nah
    Everything we did was secret
We made do with very little, all it took was one bike
And you could see a bunch of super happy kids
I entered high school for a professional diploma
First day of class - I already knew I wasn't going to study
Only Blacks and Arabs, the teacher got traumatized
She got so scared she fu-ked off
    First tattoo, first racing heartbeats
    First glances at girls
Back then I was shy, discrete, diffident
I just pretended not to see them
The hood turned into a living hell
    It got unbearable
The reason to this war - a cellphone
I didn't understand sh-t, the projects got split in two
Gangs formed and some started to disguise themselves
Anyway I needed to find a job
    High school fired me
And if I kept on doing nothing my father was going to kick me out
So I started to search, friends pulled strings for me
You know these jobs where you're only good at carrying
    In Ringis, -17°C
I stank of fish even after taking a shower
After all that, rap came into my life
You heard me kill it on "Ça Sert A Quoi"
Then I met that girl - six years of pain
    Her love wasn't sincere
On Monday we'll fight, and we'll be brothers by Tuesday
No matter the week, we'll have dinner in the cemetery on Sunday
    Kamelanc'

    La Fouine
Eyes down, hands raised to the sky
Faith is all I'm going to need
People are giving up as the end is near
We get closer as hard times follow on

    La Fouine (acting)

"You're loving it right? You're loving it you bastards...
    That's what y’all like huh?
    That's what y’all want you motherfu-king sons of b-tches!?"
