seems that when i was a young boy i didn't pay much attention to U.S. English "idioms" and/or expressions...

I'd like to know these:

"throwing my hands up in the air" -> ?
"But you've got the love I need To see me through" -> Is it what i literally understand of it ? Or an idiom?
"You got the love" -> ? (literally? I guess not... Means something similar for sure... a slang expression? )

"throwing my hands up in the air" ... means to give up ...(like if a situation is to hard, youd throw your hands up in the air as a sign that you quit)(or you are asking God for help)




"But you've got the love I need To see me through" .... means that the love is enough (strong enough) to make you not give up on the situation or relationship.

"You got the love".... i guess it is a slang expression, the best way i can explain that saying is that ... your love is enough, or your love is what i need.
