taxiodiotis tou pantos (The Wandering Traveller)? translation

Hi, is there anyone available who could translate this song to english for me please? I can pronounce the greek words I do not need a transliteration.

A Prologue
Dimos Moutsis is a difficult person to follow.
Started his carreer in the late 60's early 70's writing songs
that became everlasting hits, you may say "classics".
He always had the fear of repeating himself afterwards.
That's why his "works" are spread in time and not continuous
(there's no certain 1-2 years period between his albums).
He wanted to be sure that the public we'll listen to his work
as a new proposal every time he published one.
But during the 80's he realized that Greek society has changed.
He felt that people where stopped acting as community with common tasks,
but more like newly-wealthy individuals.
So in this song he describes that period's atmospere,
how every one is working in the community, how dull is the wasting of life
but with an overdose of IRONY everything is ok about that.
In contrast in the lyrics that Moutsis sings he express his stance,
he feels pressurised by the public who has it's own oppinion about music,
while he wants to travel (meaning educate himself) to new ideas and sounds.
He feels the need to listen to everything -> an everywhere traveller.
But to his compatriots ears seems like a striking cymbal,
cause they're unfamiliar with his sounds and face his work as a strange one.
