SOLVED - Who sings this 80's "Air supply" like song

I think it's John Howard with "Searching for someone" but I'm not sure. Does anybody know the song?

I have faith in people until proven otherwise...

The A side was posted on YouTube by someone who purports to be the artist. He was very nice, signed one comment with JH, said "...we recorded the track..." and uses 1975 memorabilia as his online name..

He may not want or is unable to post the B side, but if you provide him with your video link for identification, it might get you one step closer. So would some further communication with him.

Am i being too naive...? WEA is one alternative... Good luck with that piece... Maybe some collector reading this thread...

By the way, are there any songs from him that you are either sure of that they aren't, are possibilities, you heard, etc? With exception to the ones on youtube.

Well, I don't like the sound of this answer. I think it's "Searching for someone" ("Walking down the street so far away to FIND SOMEBODY ELSE"). If you think it's not, than prove it!

The song mentioned in that topic was John Howard - Searching For Someone. It turned out not to be it, and the mystery continues. The person who recorded it found the recording on an old cassette either in 1983 or 1984.

Here are the lyrics. Someone posted them on the youtube video, I just made a few corrections regarding what I thought I heard. I feel as though this is not the full song.
