A song that Mario Frangoulis sang on tele?

"Alexandras" is an avenue in the center of Athens.
Back in 1962 during Greece's "Golden decade" and while an amazing
cultural revolution was in progress, there were 2 open theaters at Alexandras Ave.
in a distance no more than 100 meters.

So at these two theaters in June 1962 the two EVER biggest composers of Greece,
staged their theatrical plays, Theodorakis' "Omorfi poli" and Hadjidakis' "Odos Oniron".

In Hadjidakis' "Odos oniron" was being played the following instrumental part:



This instrumental was not published in "Odos Oniron" LP back in 1962 but in
a later release in1999.

Meanwhile Hadjidakis found Yiorgo Romanos - a young man in royal choir - and
decided to write some songs based on his voice.
Romanos, being young, wanted to sing songs that would talk about fictional stories
in other words MYTHS.
That's when Niko Gatsos (Hadjidakis' close friend and poet) was asked to write lyrics
about the "MYTHOLOGIA" LP.

Eventually , Aeriko is a Hadjidakis - Gatsos masterpiece from this LP.
(IMHO the whole LP is a masterpiece btw )
