Default i know some lyrics but not title or artists HELP!

i think it may be an old cal smith song but not sure .
some of the lyrics are as follows ..(first verse)

    the judge pronounced him guilty
    the charge of vagrency
he said your honor i've heard you now your honor you hear me.
i shook the great macarthur's hand.
he pinned his medal on me cause i was his kind of man.
and frankly i dont give a d*** what your type think of me .
i earned a great mans handmanship and thats all the pride i need.

that used to play a lot on a local austin radio station back in the 70s i think and i been trying to find it ever since .
if anyone could help it would be really appreciated .
    thanks
