this one's eluding me

I'm generally very good at finding songs with very little to go on, but this one's eluding me.

I work at Kohl's in Colorado, and every night there's this pop-rock song with a female vocalist, whose inflections make her sound very like Mandy Moore's more folky stuff, or her work in Tangled. My usual tactic is to write some of the lyrics on my hand while the song's playing (I work Ad Set), and what I got for this one is along the lines of "That's what I loved you for." it's a sad song theme-wise, about a girl reminiscing about her ex.

If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful!
