another (dent?) in my armor

I joined this forum specifically because of this thread! I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a song I heard at Kohls yesterday (August 21) in the afternoon. I was in housewares if that helps.

It's a guitar song, sung by a male that kind of sounds like Teddy Geiger or a young Gavin DeGraw. It's pretty up-tempo and pop. The lyrics go something like "another (dent?) in my armor, another....in my...." and then he sings about how the girl is imperfect but perfect for him. I even tried to get my phone to pick up the song on Shazaam but I couldn't get reception. Help!

There are a lot of songs that match some of the things that you described. What else can you remember about the song?
I can't find a single Kohl's song with the word "armor" in it.

Maybe you heard, "I want to be where you are" and mistook it for "armor". This song is very popular, but I consider it to be a ballad instead of uptempo pop. I also don't hear him describe the girl as imperfect.

I wish I could remember more, but I would swear there was something about armor or that sounded a heck of a lot like armor. He like lists a bunch of faults or things wrong with him.
