You need not run from me
My nazar* has never touched (you), I am in love since I was born.
Take your beautiful words, that were never spoken
Find yourself again in all of them
A hurry, a curse for oneself, though this love is supposedly like a dream
Could passing time ever be a remedy?
The first day's wound is always hidden at my very here
By sweat, look, my body got soaking wet!
A summer's day cannot pass along without making love, I do not know why.
A hurry,...
Not the first time, but the last, I know
Always turning around, I find myself to love you, again
Bound was our history, written our destiny
At love's first wound.
*nazar is the Turkish "evil eye"; Turks believe, that when someone envies you, they will (mostly) accidentally cast a hex onto you. This hex, cast out with their eyes, is called "nazar" (Arabic for "look"). Turkish people protect themselves with the well-known blue glassy eyes.
- Racism is not far, it is in everybody's nature. Detect thy fears, thy prejudices, and live in unison with these fears and every being that does not harm thee.
