IMO it kind of sounds to me like Mr Mister or Corey Hart.
I think two phrases that are sung are "I am trying to make it" and "I walk with you". That's for now, I will see if I can hear things better as I'm sure things need to be corrected.
Since this is a trailer i looked up production music with Mixalopoulos' lyrics.
Found it on APM's Bruton Library as BR 0309 Trk 20 (2m 39s full play time w/vocals)
Album: Hits of the 70's & 80's (BRH 103)
Composers: Alexander Baker, Clair Marlo and Eric Stromer
Title: You'Re Not Alone
Sorry, but i have not found an alternate source of play.

Hey Bluenilefan, thank you very much for your reply. Ive searched the site and cant find that actual release, could you post the link you found?
Right, ive found the track too, it looks like songs off that website are like..different versions of released songs..
Ah! the production music letdown... can't help you there, sorry.
I'm no expert but i think most songs artists sell to a library, have no 'released versions' outside the library.
If you're referring to the trailer, once you buy a song, you can use whatever part of it you want. I notice 2 splices and three parts of the song custom edited for the trailer. They may have used parts of the instrumental, their choice. Same song though...
Track 20 off CD 1 was the longest version, thus the one i referred to. Track 20 off CD 2 is instrumental (1 m 33 s) and so is the 30 s Track 40.
For the curious (blue button)
