    Default Ya Garet al-Wadi

Many singers sang this song I guess. Can anybody give a translation? And who's actually the writer of that song?

Sorry, if the translation was already here.

    Merci

It belongs to the great poet Ahmad Shawqi

Oh valley neighbour, I felt delighted and
Something like dreams of your remembrance has came back to me

In the remembrance I performed passionate as In sleepliness
And remembrances symbolize the echo of the years

I passed on a .... meadwo in the eminence where I used to meet you

It's faces as well as eyes, laughed to me
And I found your scent in its breath

I've never knew the charm of embrace for lovers
Until my forearm suppled and folded you

Your sides sagged in my hand
And your cheecks reddened because of coyness intension

I got ın two ocscures, your hair and night
And as the enlightened morning I kissed your mouth

In the intrinsic ribs I found swoon from the scent of your mouth
And the darkness of your vintage (the darkeness of lips)

    The spoken language conked
And in passion language my eye discoursed with your eyes

I obliterated all my aims and needs from my heart and mind
And I forgot all admonitions and complaining

In time there is no yesteday nor tomorrow
All time was brought together, and that was the day of your contentment

    I've really done my best...
I really enjoyed reading and translating the poem. Please if you'd like to ask anything, don't hesitate

Well in this verse, he is describing the darkness in her lips with the darkness of vintage.
