Talking Sejo Keydura - Neka, neka

    trans

    Vidi, vidi ko je pijan,
    picem lijeci bol,
    zena sto je rekla
    da mrzi alkohol.

    Vidi, vidi duplo pice
    za ljubavne rane,
    zena sto se klela
    da mrzi pijane.

    Neka, neka moja mila,
    ti sto nikad nisi pila,
    vidi sada kako boli,
    kad te niko ne voli.

    Neka, neka, neka ti je,
    pice nek' pred tebe stave,
    pa da vidis kako je
    kad te ostave.

    Vidi, vidi ko to place,
    za oprostaj moli,
    zena sto se klela
    da me ne voli.

    Gdje je sada onaj ponos,
    sto ga vise nema,
    mislila si nikad neces

    Sejo Keydura - There, there*

    Look, look who is drunk
curing the pain with a drink
    The woman who said
    that she hates alcohol

    Look, look a double drink
    for the love wounds
The woman who used to swear
    that she hates drunks

    There, there my dear
you who have never been drinking before
    Realize** now how it hurts
    when no one loves you

    There, there you have it
let them put a drink in front of you
so you could see how it feels
    to be left***

    Look, look who is crying
    begging for forgiveness
The woman who used to swear
    that she wasn't loving me

    Where is now that pride
    why it's not here anymore
    You thought that you would
    never be left

*There, there - here it doesn't mean the place, but a phrase English say when they are trying to calm someone; literally let, let
    **Literally: look, watch, see
    ***To be lorn

you're welcome, Milijana. You did a great job translating.

I have never heard of the word "lorn", and I am a native American English speaker.
No, that does not mean that I am an American Indian..
Gott zur Ehr, dem nächsten zur Wehr

What if they gave a fire and nobody came.

lol, let us make all this confusion disappear then.. I used this website for getting slang explanations and also English synonyms, and here is the word "lorn" explained by "Bereft; forlorn". I'm trying to enrich my vocabulary of English words by using synonyms. So, "lorn" is not in use in everyday speech?

I didn't know for the word. It exists in some online dictionaries, I didn't find it in mine....

    lorn
(a.) Forsaken; abandoned; solitary; bereft; as, a lone, lorn woman.
    (a.) Lost; undone; ruined.

This http://www.wordreference.com/ is great online dictionary. I think you don't even have to use others beside it, Astarea.
