Hi momper, I did my best, but please better check first, because I have some doubts in the grammar of some constructions, or if any one could help thanks for the comments and corrections, saludos desde México.

Cuando el mar te tenga, te tendré.
When the sea has you (?), I´ll have you

Thank you dear momper, that´s one of my doubts, cause the phrase is not a simple future tense.
I remembered the title of the song "when the levee breaks" by Led zeppelin, where it means an action not
in the present but in a future time, that is why I did the construction that way,
try to see the phrase in this way:
"When the sea will have you = cuando el mar te tendrá", it changes a little the meaning.
I hope someone give us a light about this matter, if I find something I let you know, thanks again.

Maybe "Whenever the sea has you, I'll have you." It doesn't sound very natural in my opinion but it's hard to translate otherwise.
