Tis funny I thought I'd posted a few wild rough guesses to this thread a while back what it reminded me of, and have dug about from time to time to try and track down other possibilities.

Anyhow, some time back I'd figured the music it reminded me of was the OST from Dave by James Newton Howard. It's close in structure but the instrumentation isn't quite the same. I looked for other music by James N Howard, but gave up due to the time to dig up various tracks.
