[SOLVED] Techno/electric sounding song - "I need you to set me free"

There's this song that's been in my head for a while. I'm not sure what language the song is. Most likely English. There's a smidge possibility it could be in Japanese as I listen to a lot of Japanese music.

The only line I know is: "I need you to set me free." Not much to go on, I know. But it's sung with a bit of autotune, I think? Very electric sounding.

Sorry for my vagueness. Hopefully someone can help?

If not, can you tell what is the gender of the singer?

Thanks for the help get_attitude_ but I was listening to a Japanese online radio station the other day and the song came up! Turns out the lyrics were actually, "I believe you set me free." The singer (who is female) has a very heavy accent which lead me to believe the lyrics were "I need you to set me free."

So the song was "Free Free" by Ami Suzuki.
