    wow i still have that old vinyl record of Haris Alexiou with that song on it....back then i didn't know the meaning of Teli either...live and learn..

    still you are in a better position than I am I listened to that song, let's say hundreds of times (?) but never asked myself "what does that mean?..." But anyway, there is a lady here who always says that I'm dumb...so maybe I really am

    I'd swear that I saw a translation of this song here in ATL about a year ago (soon after I posted the lyrics a strong "deja vu" appeared in my mind), but I can't find it...I didn't translate it to avoid a duplicate translation...

    Maybe a mod can verify if it exists or not?

    Before reading the above translation keep in mind that:

    "Τέλι τέλι" means "chord after chord", and describes somebody's efforts to learn a music instrument (eg. guitar)
    The procedure takes time but "reveals" instrument's "habbits".
    The same way the lyricist Pithagoras wrote that he learnt everything about the "fake world".
