    Default Rain falls out (s.a.d.*)

    . . .

The style of this song will be similar to "The Civil Wars" song called "Falling" (below); but maintaining a stronger minor key.
Other styles considered are Appalachian Mountain song style or Louisiana "Black & Blues."

EDIT: OK, the John Prine song "Angel From Montgomery" (posted below) is very close in beat, style, and moodiness to "Rain Falls Out."

    RAIN FALLS OUT (S.A.D.*)

    The rain falls out
    Each end-of-the-year.
    Spring said, “Adieu.”
    Summer’s disappeared.

    Third-week September
    Rain starts to fall.
    October clouds weep
    Most of all.

    [Refrain]
    The rain falls out
    Smothering the year,
    Pouring out buckets
    And more, I fear.

    The rain falls out,
    Soaks Mama’s clean sheets.
    Almost lost my breath
    ... For keeps.

    The rain falls out,
    Soaks Mama’s clean sheets.
    Almost lost my breath
    ... For keeps.

    [Refrain]
    The rain falls out
    Smothering the year,
    Pouring out buckets
    And more, I fear

    Storms are gone
    By the end-of-November.
    Why does this happen?
    Can’t remember.

I love it!!Not only can you critique like a College Professor, but you spin some good ole Poetry as well!Frankie, you started out So Strong with Shawdow Heat, that it would be lying to say,"You're getting better each time!"Truth is,you started with an amazing piece that is gonna be hard to top! This is almost as good,so that's saying,it's great!I knew this was good when you previewed it for me.The little change here and there makes it as close to perfect as one can expect!Good job,Miss Jasmine, this rocks in the Key of "WOW"!!

FAN-TAStic Ms. Frankie J.! I've listened to a couple of Civil War's songs, and yeah I think that kind of style could work great for these lyrics. Wish I could say more, but I'm late for work and I gotta run!

Hi F. J., congratulations for your rainy lyrics, I imagined it not so fast as the lyrics for "Jaques Cousteau", but so melodic and slow as the songs you recommended us, hope that the rain refresh a little the heat of the last days you were suffering for the strong and heavy sun, (specially if is "pouring out buckets").

in the last week we had in México so sunny days, but not compared with Kentucky, we still can bear it easily.
    Gracias amiga F. J.
