    Default my solemn goobye

this is a solemn goodbye (this is actually part of the song btw)

    (music starts)
    (short instrumental)

    we had fun
    ya
but now that time is done
    ya
    and this is our end
    ya (drags out)
and this is my solemn goodbye
(pause for the amount of time of a short breath in)

    (music starts again)

    no more unnecessary lies
    my solemn goodbye
    no more painful ties
    my solemn goodbye
    and i said i wouldn't cry
but (breath in) its my solemn goodbye

    we spent the nights
    ya
    and we had our fights
    ya
and i wish you the best
    ya
    (music stops)
    cause this is my goodbye
    (music starts again)

    no more unnecessary lies
    my solemn goodbye
    no more painful ties
    my solemn goodbye
    and i said i wouldn't cry
but (breath in) its my solemn goodbye

(music speeds up and gets heavier)
    (instrumental)

    no more unnecessary lies
    my solemn goodbye
    no more painful ties
    my solemn goodbye
    and i said i wouldn't cry
    but its my solemn goodbye
    I thought we where friends!
    I thought we where friends!
    I thought we where friends!
    I thought we where friends!
    I thought we where friends!
    (everything stops)
but your no friends of mine (said just below a whisper where you have to strain to hear the words)

Phil, please tell me if I "hear" your song correctly:

    The "we had fun
    ya"
part is slower, but speeds up with:

    "no more unnecessary lies
    my solemn goodbye . . . "

And the "no more unnecessary lies" part throughout the song keeps getting faster?

That's how I heard it in my mind, so you must have written the lyrics well--giving that feeling! I like this song because it's different, unusual;, it has meaning, but it's kind of fun too; the "no unnecessary lies" could really rock out!

you got it exactly, and the unnecessary lies part not only is supposed to get faster, its supposed to get angrier
