I know there are many techno songs that have some form of the matrix, but this song had a specific set of lines, did not have any other lines or lyrics, and was a clip of Morphus, not of someone else speaking the lines.
It has a pretty consistant beat. It does not sound like speedy-happy raver music, although it has a raver element to the song.
The lines include the following:
"Let me tell you why you're here.
You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it.
You've felt it your entire life (actual movie line omitted in this part)
You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
Do you know what I'm talking about?
(neo's response omitted in this part)
Do you want to know (MUSIC STOPS)
What...It Is?" (echos slightly)
Driving beat and techno music resumes.
It's only said once, and it's about half-way or more through the song. Nothing at the beginning or the end, just one part of the song. I don't think the song itself was too long, but I'm hazy on the actual length, unfortunately.
Please help me identify this song. I can't wait to be able to listen to it again. I've looked stuff up myself but it's really difficult when many songs are called "matrix remix" and dont include anything to do with the matrix, it's just the title of the remix.
Thank you!
