I'm a fan of both the Yardbirds and Hermits Hermits,but to say their alike is like saying Taylor Swift is like Janis Joplin,although this comparison is much closer!Herman's Hermits were a Pop band,like Paul Revere and the Raiders or the Monkees(I like both bands as well)The Yardbirds were in the same league as the Rolling Stones,the Who,the Animals,bands that started out as mainly blues influenced rock,where as Herman Hermits were strictly teenybopper much like Justin Bieber Is today.Don't get me wrong;Im a big HH fan,"I'm Into Something Good"is on my favorites of All Time List.Just wanted to clear this up!

Let me explain something you may not be hip to;being a teenybopper wasn't a putdown at all.It simply is a age group of fans,usually female who may follow a group or certain act.I didn't meant as a derogatory term in the least,after all we were ALL teenyboppers at one time in our lives.It's an age group of around seven to twelve.Before the teen years,where as we all know,that's when we know it all!I've been getting dumber every year I get further away from sweet 16!!
