One more time that Tsakalakos' English version is better than the Greek one.

    Track no: 09
The way she looks, the way she stares
    a lovely reason to despair
she plays with rules that aren't fair
now I'm wounded but she don't care

A shattered dream, a dirty game
the sweetest poison in my veins
    travels slowly to my brain
    and leaves me wounded

    She's a queen when I'm a clown
she goes up when I go down
The reason why she wants me near
is just to make me disappear

The mirror breaks and I can see
    she enjoys catastrophe
she cracks a smile and stares at me
she leaves me wounded, but she don't care

    She's a queen when I'm a clown
she goes up when I go down
The reason why she wants me near
is just to make me disappear

I was lost in her lullabies
Strange black magic in her eyes

    In the morning
    while in metro station
    I 'm walking feeling dizzy
a voice-message warns "mind the gap"
    but I have fallen
    already

    I won't eat
    won't drink
    my mouth still taste sweet
I don't even wanna wash myself
not for the hours to come

    It was just a moment
    it was my whole life
I was afraid of your refusal
    but more of your acceptance

    Tonight
    how can I sleep
    wearing some stupid smile
I "live" the night once more
    and I'm still falling
    to the gap

    It was just a moment
    it was my whole life
I was afraid of your refusal
    but more of your acceptance

    Now
    I live with the thought
    of seeing you again

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

He is half Greek half American.
He divided his studying years between the two countries,
he speaks better English than Greek lang,
so he writes his songs in English and only then he chooses some of them to have Greek lyrics not added by him.

So, in the end, his songs have more of American scent than Greek.
But ... he has some SOLID knowledge of music plus some balcanian crazyness.
Could be a good -or even great- composer in the future.

    exactly (the bold lettering...)
The most charming creatures on this earth. The only women who can show what they feel and, they do feel.
    Stunning feeling...to just meet them.
