Slippery Slope

Within my heart within my mind
You are what keeps me in line
The love I have for you
Is unimaginably true

For you are all that I need
All that I ever want to see
Is a smile upon your face
Not a look of disgrace

For I love you dearly so
I can't escape this flow
The flow of love that is never slow
For it races from the thawing snow

And cascades down the mountain’s slope
So fast we must hold on to the rope
But if we slip we will fall together
And be side by side forever
