Who said I felt lonely? On the contrary I thought I proved repeatedly how much I enjoy being the sole centre of attention. I'm perfectly qualified to hold a conversation alone - Lord knows I have enough personalities

I am glad however that you are getting the appreciation you deserve.

I used to be nice and merely like. Now I've - taken face - as we say in Arabic, and happily spam his thread to add some colour to the music.

What better way to add 'colour' than my avatar?

I'd merely like to keep you on planet earth that little bit longer. Here's my current diet - right now lots of that spiky thing on the lower right hand side, durian:

    The two dimensions of me
    bend ourselves
to catch a glimpse of the third,

which of the long line of us in the fourth
    is me.

    Trees grow from seeds,
planted by a hand we do not see, but can feel
as fiber upon fiber finds its place
    and roots grip the ground
until a thousand branches greet the skies above.

    Trees produce seeds,
    pines of their kind, others quite likewise;
years grow as bark upon the stem
    while why's and wherefore's
fall like leaves upon the quiet ground below.

    Are we not like trees,
born to bear fruits of our own kind?
Rooted in aeons of ancestral soil,
fully free to be the tree
that time has sown beneath the mask of "me".

There once was a poet online
    whose lines would rarely unwind.
    He thrust in the words
    like slaughtered birds,
he prayed they'd forgive his sad crime.

I was watching, I was thinking
when a kine of cows a-blinking
    thundered past my vantage point atop a hill;
a drift of pigs behind them
    were oinking some odd anthem
while a gaze of raccoons closed in for the kill.
A host of sparrows fluttered by,
a run of salmons soaring high
were shrieking: "Get them! If you don't, we will!"
To which a bob of seals replied
"Make love, not war!" and then applied
this to a boil of hawks in flight:
that carnage, that was something wild.

But Noor, there is much much more to Life than romance.

    Just kidding.

Great little lyrical there OI. Just wish I could figure out why it reminds me so much of The Raven... ?? ... Strange but true.
But seriously (really) I'm sure it's just because the cadence of the first two lines exactly matches that classic poem, and then the 3rd line almost makes the same cut.
There is no glamour in sudden death, and nobody ever wins a war.
