Solved: 80s song with high pitched female voice

Hi,

I remember this song from the 80s and it had a very high pitched female voice, reminds me of Montserrat Caballe

But I'm almost 100% sure the singer of my song is not Montserrat. The only part of the lyrics I remember goes something like this:

"is it me, uhh ouoohh ohhh"

It was an international hit, since it was in English and I heard it here in Brazil.

I've not listened to your clip, but try Kate Bush as a possibility for the artist you have in mind. She was an international signer who would have been globally recognised at the time. A few notable songs are sung "at the high end" along with a bit of vocalised "wailing."
