Can anyone identify this 1980's song? Reputation?

Hi all.
Heard a song from my past today on a 1980's internet radio station-and, as usual, they don't tell us the title! Anyway, I think the song is called "reputation", and the the lyrics go something like:

Repuatation, it's a one temptation,
It's easy to try,
who cares what they're whispering,
reputation.........

Actually this lady has been around a while (1964) and is still amazing. Dusty Springfield covered this song in 1988 & I don't know who else did in the 80s yet but it's the only one so far coming up with the "who cares what they're whispering." Hopefully this helps and if not we'll keep trying!!!

I'm so glad I could help. eBay is a good place to start (ebay's half.com). I saw that very CD used in there yesterday for $4.50!!!!!!!!!!! Or new for $8 or $9. I've also bought like new music at Amazon. Good luck to you! By the way, my nickname was Andi as a child.......good name!
