I wish I could tell you the name of a song that sort of fits your description - that I heard last night on the radio. I'll offer a couple of lyrics so that someone else can name it.
[ I rarely listen to the radio anymore (at all!!!) because chances are, the announcer isn't going to name the song, even if it is a familiar, once very popular tune. None of the stations available in the broadcast range around my locale, bother to have a website that actually gives up a song track list by day or night, ... that would be just too radical.]

Please pardon me if the song has been already named.

The main lyrics that sticks in my memory was "I was made (born?) to love you" "you were made (born?) to love me" The "doos" form the chorus, melodic and high energy - sounded late seventies.

I do not know why after an hour of searching the other night, the only lyrics I found by KISS ... missed out on the chorus's "doos." Then again, the search terms I was using was "doo."

Another crack and it was too easy.

Kiss - I was made for loving you

It turns out this was solved back in November 2014 by KamikazeKnifer but I hadn't checked the thread in ages and heard Miss You in a cafe in Yokohama of all places, and promptly Shazamed it.

Thanks to all those who replied and didn't give up.

(song = "Miss You" by the Rolling Stones)
