I'm having a hard time getting much meaning from this song because of its complexity. Can someone please translate it into English for me? If you need to, you can change the phrasing a bit to make it make more sense. It's Kol Lailah by Chen Aharoni.

Sorry it's been a while since you asked this but like you appreciated this is a hard song to translate so I was hoping someone else would take up the task Anyway, while I can't provide a translation in beautiful flowing English, I believe I understand the song in Hebrew so I will try to explain the meaning of the Hebrew as requested, at the places where it is not such a direct translation. Btw, very nice sounding song, thanks for bringing it up.

According to the lyrics provided: Every night I strike around the keyhole, (trying to get a key into a lock, but not able)
But listening to the song it sounds more like כל לילה, מחכה בסיבוב המנעול Every night, I wait around the lock.
And I'm for you and without you.

I don't ask where (hard to translate since both היכן and איפה mean where, but I think there is only one word in English for where, also כבר means already but I don't think there is an equivalent for the way it is used at the start of this sentence.)
