Sunset

I've never posted on here before, so sorry if it's not the best spot for the thread. I'm just curious to see what people might think of some little things I've written, and read some really awesome work from others. This one is a wip, I just like this segment of it.

My vision is locked on a beautiful light, as the day turns to night
I'm overwhelmed by a feeling that everything's alright,
I can't explain what casts across the sky this peaceful site,
it seems it's like brushstrokes that paint the hues
of oranges, reds and blues
on a canvas of clouds guided by the breeze,
gently flowing through me as I breathe
it's the perfect remedy for distress,
the anger building up in my chest
is released in the air as I exhale my breath.

Absolutely beautiful. From the flow I would chance a guess that you may also rap.

Thank you. Yeah actually the majority of my writtings are rap. I don't, however, like rap with egotistical lyrics, money money lyrics, or meaningless sexual lyrics. I've been writing poetry for a pretty long time now, and the meaning behind it has and always will be a huge influence on how I go about rap.
