    Default A Brief Exchange

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. So much has happened since then. But here you go, ATL. Also, comments/critiques are very much welcome.

How gentle her touch is as she approaches.
Her desire only that which she needs.
What right have I to extinguish her flame
When it is more than herself that she feeds?
I only notice in her departure
That she even existed in my plane.
She has what she needs, and though it may sting,
What right do I have to take that away?
A limited scope, my knowledge of life
But what exactly makes my life worth more?
The height of my mind? The width of my chest?
No more do I know what life has in store.

I know now that as I watch her depart,
She bears more than that which beat from my heart.
    Smilez

This is very good, well written and very poetic I love the flow of the lines. It reminds me of romantic poetry thank you for sharing.
There is not enough space or time to truly let the song unwind
