from my perch atop this covered bridge the moon glares down on me

but the blood red moonlit Transylvanian sky was taking its toll on me

he sunk two sharp teeth, they call them fangs, deep in my jugular veins
my head it spun it, my stomach churned, I couldn't bear the pain
I awoke in a place unknown to me with no concept of time
somewhere outside of life and death there lies a thin red line

through decades, years, and centuries i'm cursed to stalk this land
though its true I cannot die, I will never breathe again
so hold your crucifix and wooden stake and hide off in the light
