This is a song I wrote for a rock 'n roll/country-singer named JLandess ('The Dutch Elvis'). It's just a good time rock 'n roll song.
Verse:
My heart just skipped a beat
When I saw you walking down the street
My mind and body
Longing for connection (yeah)
Watching your every move
With every step you seem to prove
Nothing ever coming
Closer to perfection (no)
Pre-chorus:
Passion flowing through my veins
I’m a tameless horse without its reins
I want to run and gallop your way
My sights are set on you
Chorus
You’re red hot (riff)
Come on, baby,
Give me all you’ve got
Your best shot (riff)
I might be wrong,
But I’m probably not
Satisfaction guaranteed
I’m the one you need
My tigress (riff)
Verse:
Your worries, throw ‘em overboard
Let’s give ourselves a big reward
No strings attached
But a momentary treasure (yeah)
Quit being so serious
This is the time and place for us
Turn off your brain
For once give in to pleasure (mmmmm)
Pre-chorus:
Desire is a driving force
Come on, let nature run its course
I wanna feel your nails running down my spine
Making sweet, sweet love to you
Well.....you know I've got to dig this.......it's almost as if I wrote it myself! This is right up my alley!Simple, basic rock and roll,it don't get much better than that!Great piece!
Good rocker, Peter. 'Course "tigress" is the right word . . . but when I hear your song, I hear an Elvis "Ti-ger-ESS!" (You know U.S. Southerners always add more syllables than actually appear in a word!!) Would like to hear one more stanza with "Tigress" in your song as a sort of refrain or touchstone.
