Actually I thought Baran meant "Soul" (dont ask me why, it was my imagination). I love this song, but I confess it makes me sad. Now that I understand the lyrics, even more. But I like to learn new words. Problem is that I am starting to mix Farsi with Arabic.
:-) it is funny, today my boss told me that during the weekend he was telling his family how iranians were celebrating their New year, and how you are Persians and no Arabs, and how you speak farsi and not arabic... :-) So, you see, you are influencing more people than myself! :-) Because I tell him the things that I learn. I like to see how people get interested in knowing more about those far away countries. At least in this part of the world, the only thing that we see about midel and far east are immages of war, misery and religious fantism. It is sad, but this is the only image media shows.
Well, I believe you are ready for new translation :-). But Vanda, just do it when you have the time, I still have a lot of homework to do with all the previous songs... It is not so EASY to memorize those words. Although I feel that Farsi is easier than Arabic (alhamdulillah!).
So, next song is also from Omid: Gol e royayee (or something like this).
Besos y hasta mañana (kisses and until tomorrow)
