az bas ke oftadam be khak --- cause I fell on earth so much
konje khane morde --- I died in a corner of home
bi parvaz o bikare shudam --- I got featherless and workless

yarab! bichare shodam --- o God! I languished

man ke az si pareye Quran nakhandam yek kalam --- I've never read even a word of all 30 parts of Quran*
par pare eshgham chenan kardi ke si pare shodam --- (but) you slabed me by love as I tattered to 30 piece

sad hezar rahmat be tire nasavbe dushmanam --- may my enemy's ungracious arrow be blessed
andaki marham modava mikonad zakhme tanam --- a little salve will medicate my body's sore
tire bi ensafe eshghe to neshast be ghalbe man --- the unjust arrow of your love hurtled through my heart
karegar nist harche marham man be in zakhm mizanam --- It dosn't work however I medicate this woud
in havas o hushe man ba to che asan miravad --- how easy my attention goes with you
pa be paye saye at omram shetaban miravad --- my life goes apace with your shade

اندکی مرهم مداوا می کند زخم تنم
تیر بی انصاف عشق تو نشست به قلب من

پا به پای سایه ات عمرم شتابان میرود
