    Question MOIN, Doa

Ba ham biya doaa konim*** let’s pray together
khodamoono seda konim***[Let’s] call our Lord
ba ham biya doaa konim*** Let’s pray together
khodamoono seda konim***[Let’s] call our Lord

Ke asemoon bebare ***that the sky would rain
faravooni biyare***[and] bring excess [or wealth][of gifts]

azash bekhaym baramoon*** [let’s] ask him[God]…
sange tamoom bezare ***to do his best for us
sange tamoom bezare ***to do his best for us

rahaye baste va she*** the closed roads would be opened
hichki gharib nabashe ***no body would be lonely [strange]
soorato shekle hichkas*** no body’s face and figure…
    mardom farib nabashe***would be demagogue
mardom farib nabashe ***would be demagogue [no body would have a deceptive appearance]

shafa bede marizo***he would mend the patient[ it means everyone who is patient]
khat bezane setizo***[and would] eliminate the conflicts
roo hich divaro boomi***on no wall or roof…
nakhoone joghde shoomi***no evil owl would be singing
nakhoone joghde shoomi***no evil owl would be singing

doaa konim raha shan***let’s pray that become free
oona ke tooye bandan*** those who are slaves [or are in prison]*( those who are slaves become free)
az bas nabashe na ahl*** [and] from an excess lack of wicked people
zendoonaro bebandan***they would close the prisons

khodesh midoone dare ***he himself knows
harkesi arezooyi*** that every individual has a wish
in bashe arezoomoon*** our dream should be this
narize aberooyi *** that no one’s honor would be stained
narize aberooyi ***no one’s honor would be stained

siaho sefid ye rang beshe***White and black would unite [mix] and change into one color
zeshtihamoon ghashang beshe***Our obscenities [ugliness] would change into virtues[beautifulness]

kaviraa abad beshan***deserts would become fertile
asira azad beshan***Slaves would become free

khodesh midoone dare ***he himself knows
harkesi arezooyi*** that every individual has a wish
in bashe arezoomoon*** our dream should be this
narize aberooyi *** that no one’s honor would be stained
narize aberooyi ***no one’s honor would be stained

    problematic parts:
sange tamoom[or in bookish manner tamum] gozashtan: sang: stone* tamoom or tamum: complete*gozashtan: to put. It is an expression, it means to strive or try hard for doing something.
Here, it means let’s pray and want god to try as much as he can to fulfill our dreams. This sentence seems to be very purely, and it reminds you the way that a child thinks and talks about God. Let’s use the patronage to persuade God to accept our pray!

Rah: way* baste: closed*Va: in bookish manner,Baz: open* she: bookish manner, shavad: become* Va she: baz shaved: will be opened

    Hichki: bookish manner: hichkas: nobody

mardom farib: is consisted of two nouns, mardom: people*farib: deception, cheat. mardom farib is something or someone that deceives or cheats other people.

roo hich divaro boomi/ nakhoone joghde shoomi: in old beliefs owl was an evil and [fated] animal, in the old times the singing of an owl on a wall was very bad and it was a sign of adversity, so the poet wishes a day that owls don’t sing on the walls: no body would be unfortunate.

    shan: bookish manner: beshavand

oona ke tooye bandan: oon: un: that* a: ha: is the sign of plurality * unha: those* band: has to meanings:1.prison 2.slavery

az bas nabashe na ahl/ zendoonaro bebandan
na ahl : someone that is not ahl* ahl: honorable and good. The poet wishes a day that there would be no wicked person, so all the prisons would be closed

Today was the first time that I tried to translate a poem line by line, so I hope I would be excused for my mistakes. Dear Vanda will find it in her archive and put it for you later.
