Homayoun Shajarian - Shoghe Doost

Dear friends,
Again I'm all in love with the voice of Homayoun Shajarian. In this video his performance is just equal to that of a Master Vocalist.

PLEASE PLEASE, can any one enlighten me and translate the lyrics, which is a poem of Saadi Shirazi??

اگر مـراد تـو ای دوسـت نامـرادی مـاست
مراد خویش دگرباره من نخواهم خواست

عنایتی که تو را بـود اگر مبـدّل شد
خلل*پذیر نباشد ارادتی که مراست

میـان عیب و هنـر پیش دوستـان قدیـم
تفاوتی نکند چون نظر به عین رضاست

مـرا بـه هـر چـه کنـی دل نخواهـی آزردن
که هر چه دوست پسندد به*جای دوست رواست

هـزار دشمـنـی افتـد مـیـان بدگـویـان
میان عاشق و معشوق دوستی برجاست

جمال در نظر و شوق همچنان باقی*ست
گدا اگر هـمـه عالم بـدو دهند گداست

مرا به*عشق تو اندیشه از ملامت نیست
اگـر کنـند ملامـت نـه بـر مـن تنهـاست

غــلام قـامــت آن لـعبـت قـباپـوشـم
که از محبت رویش هزار جامه قباست

بـلا و زحمـت امـروز بر دل درویـــش
از آن خوش است که امید رحمت فرداست

After Homayoun, his father sings the following couplet:
گر ز حال دل خبر داری بگو
ور نشانی مختصر داری بگو
مرگ را دانم ولی تا کوی دوست
راه اگر نزدیکتر داری بگو

I would very much appreciate it if I could get a glimpse of what the poem is about. And a translation whould be just invaluable to me!

خلل*پذیر نباشد ارادتی که مراست my faithfully to you will be imperturbable

میـان عیب و هنـر پیش دوستـان قدیـم for cronies vice and art does not differ
تفاوتی نکند چون نظر به عین رضاست since this is about somthing that imply satisfacation( friendship in theosophy manner)

مـرا بـه هـر چـه کنـی دل نخواهـی آزردن if you do whatever with me you dont irritate me
که هر چه دوست پسندد به*جای دوست رواست since whatever friend accept for friend is admissible

Thank you very much agamemnon! I appreciate it alot that you have given it a try, although translating this kind of poem is quite difficult.
This is the first time I see the word 'theosophy'.
With your translation and translating some of the English words you have used I got a fair picture of the messege of the poem/poet.
