Dear Mirror (Christian Poem 4/13/10)

Dear mirror, why is your reflection haunting?
You cannot speak but your image is taunting.
Dear mirror, is there something you want me to see?
Are these many pieces what's left of me?
Dear mirror, are you there to make me feel less?
Because every time I see you, I'm more of a mess.
Dear mirror, why won't you just go away?
I'm sick of seeing what you have to say.
Dear mirror, what would happen if I told you I was done?
Would you make me stay, or would you let me run?
Dear mirror, you can't trap me anymore,
My sins have been repented and I know who I'm living for.
