SOLVED: Who sings " Stay a With Me" (80's song)?

Hi,

I have been going nuts trying to figure out who sings : " Stay With Me"!

The original version was by Deodato featuring Tara Kennedy...but this isn't the same exact version I hear on the radio. The lyrics are correct, as well as the music, but it's a different artist...perhaps a remake?

I vaguely remember the video for this song back in the late 80's of two twin sisters singing thus song, with long brown curly hair.

The chorus is:

Stay with me, can't you see, baby say you'll stay with me.
