Insomnia

Short one but might add more later. I'm currently suffering with insomnia and I thought I'd try and share a little bit. Please enjoy

My mind racing through a thousand thoughts
Or is it just a single memory
Drifting from world to world
Having no sense of what is reality

Endless visions in my mind
Like film that has been exposed
Dreaming of sleep never coming
My eyes seem not to close

haha that's usually when I am at my peak. Every song that I have ever written was when I had insomnia lool

I've read a few of your songs and there awesome might have to be tired more often to be as good as you haha

How about the style of "Eyes Without a Face" by Billy Idol. Yes, it's as 80s as Miami Vice (and maybe as dated), but a very nice song though IMO. In the chorus a female vocal can sing 'Insomnia' (as dreamily as in "Eyes Without a Face"). A male vocal answers with the other lines of the chorus. Perhaps the verses can be a bit like Lou Reed-like bridge of "Eyes Without a Face".

True insomnia, something haunting me for the past 5 years or so.

It properly sucks and never seems to go away
I'm always interested to see how others have wrote about the subject il make sure I have a look. It was written at like 4am or something I was seriously tired and half the words stopped making sense to me haha
I will try sure my can't last forever hopefully you will to get some proper sleep.
