Please help me find this long lost song!

For years I've been searching for this song I listened to back in '98 - '00 ish.. I heard it on the radio and I think it was a 'one hit wonder'..but im not sure. Silly enough, I cant remember much of it..The only thing I can remember is thats a man, singing about a boy named bobby. He is singing a story bout this bobby, and in the end theres a line something like this "thats the last time I saw bobby" ...
Please help me, I've been longing for this song for so long!! I'd be forever thankful..
PS i dont think bobby is mentioned in the song title.. So, ist not bobby brown, bobby mckee or so on.
And its pop ish.. Man singing and also playing guitar

Are you sure the song is about "Bobby"?
